My name is Tamara Bosshardt and the love that I have for horses dates back to the earliest of memories in my 51 years. You could say that I am obsessed. My husband, daughter and son-in-law are all a very important part of the family team at Cedar Hollow Ranch. Located in Duchesne, Utah, Cedar Hollow Ranch is 10 acres in the cedars in Utah, with a quaint cabin and our lovely Sporthorse mares.
My daughter and her husband, Virginia and Jesse Sloan, are currently apprenticing under the highly acclaimed trainer, Clay Wright to eventually become the head animal handlers on the ranch. All of our mares were either born and/or brought up from weanlings on our property. We know them very well. We love them and are very proud of each of their individual lineages.
We understand the love, passion and effort that goes into owning this beautiful gift from God called, 'the Horse'. Through a series of events and kindnesses from a few other horse people and our own hard working efforts, we are finally reaching the place we have worked hard for, and that is offering a kindness to others who would want one of these elite horses but cannot afford an arm and a leg to get one.
