What To Expect From your Foal.

OUR CROWN JEWEL
Jewel ‘98 Is a 16 year old American Saddlebred mare. She is a Bay Pinto Color with four white socks and a long black mane and tail. Jewel stands 15.2hh.
She is quick to action with a fast, high stepping flashy gait, an arched neck and a lifted tail. Jewel is total eye candy when she is in motion. She is a fast learner with a willing attitude and lots of ‘go’. Our Crown Jewel is happiest when she is working.
In her lifetime she has given birth to 8 live and very health foals. All of her foals have inherited her gait, height and willingness to work. Four of them were pinto marked. There have been 6 consecutive stud colts except for her last two, which are fillies. We have decided to keep her fillies (Jade ’10 and Kahlua ’13) for future breeds. Jewel Passes her Spirit, Size, Head shape - Gait - and   50% of the time, her Markings.  Because we believe in keeping our mares healthy and happy as well as protecting future foals, we do not overbreed our mares. Also, Jewel is entering her middle ages, so we only breed her once every two to three years.  Her last foal was Kahluah ‘13. So 2015 will be a year that we will breed Jewel with a foal expected by Late Spring/Early Summer 2016.    Jewel  bred to Airoso, should produce a foal that will be about 15.2h - Have a beautiful gait, high spirited, intelligent and willing nature.  Jewel bred to Hessel should produce a larger horse between 15.2 and 17h. This foal will be a Georgian Grande . Either breed will make an excellent dressage or ranch horse. MISS KAHLUA

American Saddlebred/Foxtrotter Sporthorse, Miss Kahluah ’13 out of American Saddlebred Mare, Jewel, is a chip off the ol’ block. Her gait is American Saddlebred. She has the high arched neck and tail and the same ‘get up and go’ as her mother. Yet she is one of the sweetest ladies you will meet. She loves giving horsey kisses and will leave her food to come say, “hello”.

Miss Kahlua will be two this summer and should be ready to breed. She is expected to reach15.2h and is a buckskin pinto with four high, white socks. Kahlua is also out of a Cremello Foxtrotter stallion and carries a cream gene.

Just like her mother, a foal out of this mare will not disappoint.
A MELODY OF GRACE
Out of Twan Fan Boalsert,  Beart 411, Jasper 366  (Videos on youtube)
Friesian Sporthorse, sweet, gentle Melody ’09 is 50% Friesian and 50% QH. But don’t confuse sweet and gentle with lazy or docile. Melody does everything she is asked to do with a great attitude. She is a perfect gal with all of the Friesian traits. A Black Bay, she is 16h and growing with lots of thick friesian hair. Melody would much rather be around people than other horses and has the gorgeous Friesian trot. We love, love, love Melody.
Melody has had one foal, a gorgeous Blue Roan stud colt. Even though he is only 1/4 friesian and 3/4 QH, Pistol ’13 inherited the thick, friesian mane and tail and was a very large colt at the time of his sale. He went to the Wheldon Jackson Hole rodeo to become a pick up horse when he grows up. They were looking for a flashy, large horse that would be brave when facing a bull or a bucking bronc horse. We know that he will be perfect for the job and can’t wait to see him in action.

Melody has strong friesian traits and will pass these to her foals.
RUBY BABY
Out of Twan Fan Boalsert,  Beart 411, Jasper 366 (Videos on youtube)
They don’t come any sweeter than Friesian Sporthorse, Ruby’10. This mare is a natural born kids horse. In fact, even without ever being broke or feeling weight on her back, a visiting and unknowing parent put their very young child on her back without asking anyone. She simply wanted to be next to the person and couldn’t have cared less about the wiggly, young child on her back. She is an absolute love bug.
Ruby has given birth to two beautiful and large fillies. A black and a buckskin. They have both proven to be just as beautiful and as sweet as she is.
Ruby Baby is 50% Friesian and 50% paint. A cherry colored Bay, she stands at 15.1h. She has the animated Friesian trot, personality and has a nice mane and tail. Although she is such a quiet darling, she is not lazy and keeps up her gait longer than the other horses in the round pen. Ruby will pass just the right mix of sweetness and should create the perfect baby for dressage or trails.

MISS JADE
Out of Twan Fan Boalsert,  Beart 411, Jasper 366 (Videos on youtube)
Georgian Grande and Friesian Sporthorse mare, Jade ’10 is the perfect example of the perfect mix. Out of American Saddlebred Mare, Jewel and Friesian Stallion, Twan Fan Boalsert. Jade has inherited strong traits from both breeds. She has a high, quick extended gait and arched neck from the American Saddlebred with a slightly larger and more muscular look with all of the Friesian hair. This lovely lady is regal and super classy.
One of the many wonderful traits of a Friesian is their friendly, self assured nature. This describes Jade precisely. On the other hand, the American Saddlebred is a higher spirited horse. We think that this is why Jade treats her training sessions as though it is so much fun. She is a willing and quick learner. Jade is a very richly colored bay and is currently 15.2 and growing. It needs to be said too, that for a larger horse, Jade is an easy keeper and doesn’t need as much hay as some of the other horses her size.  Jade has never been a mom. So we are very excited to see what she will offer.
